First Impression: Live Streaming on Social Media had made a huge hit, it made celebrities and fans more connected and gave opportunity for gamers to earn money by live streaming their game. but we all knew it also had a bad side since Facebook doesn't seem to have control on what is being live streamed in billions of accounts.
Quote: "Because experts have established that suicide is contagious, in a sense – one suicide can prompt others to harm themselves."
Reflection:
Having the Live Streaming function on Facebook made a really huge impact on the internet not only it connected users more but it also gave others an opportunity to create content and pursue their passion like gaming. a lot of gamers had been successful on doing a live stream of them gaming and a lot of viewers enjoyed it too. But not at all time Facebook is in control on what is being live streamed. Like in some cases where there has been suicides and killings that are being live streamed and shared by millions of people online. And even with the small period of time that some viewers are able to see those live streams. they could be convinced because experts have established that suicide is contagious, - in a sense - one suicide can prompt others to harm themselves. But I believe that with the technology that we have today Facebook can come up with something that could prevent those things from happening. They have mentioned the use of AI's to look on content and block them or give a warning that the said video is graphic. also with the help of machine learning. If given enough time those AI's would learn how to detect such content even faster and prevent others users from seeing the video. And most of all Facebook has been openly communicating with everyone and surely creating actions on every issue that they are facing.
5 things I've Learned

2. Facebook is not in total control on what content are being live streamed in their platform.
3. AI and Machine Learning could be a huge help in preventing the said acts from being live streamed.
4. As of now Facebook tend to be slow in removing or flagging those kind of videos from their platform.
5. The future of technology right now is Artificial Intelligence.
