The Ethics of Lifelogging

First Impression: Lifelogging could be a really helpful technology I think especially for people who has a brain disorder that makes them forget what happened within the last few minutes. There is a lot of potential with Lifelogging but it also imposes a lot of risks.
Quote: "We know deep down inside that no everything needs to be remembered, not everything we want to remember, and not everything needs a piece of technology to be remembered."
Reflection
Technology is abruptly moving and the changes and and inventions can't be stopped. and the perfect example of this is Lifelogging where you could record everything that you are doing the whole day and search for specific moments that you want to get back to. with this kind of technology it is truly remarkable and a lot would have this in their everyday lives. But having everything recorded imposes huge threats in our security and our privacy. Imagine how Cambridge Analytica manipulated America by creating progpaganda for specific users because they were able get a hand of 5000 data points or their personal data. What more if we have lifelogging and now people could stalk or watch over everything you see or everything you do and say. they could intercept your credit card details. your account numbers and passwords and use it against you. Lifelogging imposes a huge threat in the security of it's users and I don't think it would be safe to use it even if it has an unbreakable security feature. There should be limitations on what should only be recorded and what should not be recorded.
5 Things I've Learned
1. Lifelogging is a technology that could compromise the privacy and security of it's users.
2. Sony received a patent for a self recording contact lens.
3. Kapture is a company that produces audio recording bracelets.
4. Lifelogging could help people with brain injury.
5. Lifelogging is a possible target for Identity theft and spying.
5 Integrative Questions
1. How can lifelogging compromise the privacy and security of users?
2. When did Sony get a patent for self recording contact lens?
3. How does Kapture record audio through bracelets?
4. How can people with brain injury be helped by Lifelogging?
5. Why is Lifelogging a possible target for identity theft and spying?
